The flanks of Sigriswil and Güggis ridges rise steeply at the entrance to Justistal. The well paved roads at the entrance to the valley are lined with large boulders of these impressive mountain ridges. The hike continues via Püfel to Gross Mittelberg and Hinterstberg. The route is only slightly inclining and leads over a well developed road through the valley. Then comes the actual ascent to Sichle, which already presents itself impressively at the entrance to the valley. At the last Alpine farm, where you can have a little refreshment, the actual mountain hiking trail begins. A rough ascent over hill and dale can make some hikers pause again and again and take a deep breath. The mountain hiking trail narrows more and more towards Sichle. Once there, the pass reveals itself as a narrow ridge between two peaks with views of the hilly Emmental and the Bernese Oberland with the striking Niesen and Frutigland.

On a narrow meadow path you can finally descend from Sichle towards Eriztal. Then it gets rocky and stony, several gorges have to be overcome until Obere Schörizhütte is reached. Until there you can also admire the different rock layers of Sieben Hengste. Along Untere Schörizhütte natural and asphalted roads lead to the Restaurant Säge in Innereriz with the STI bus stop of the same name.
